Thaithani (Arts and Culture Village, Pattaya)is a newand unique tourist attraction featuring the culture and traditions of old Thailand, established in order to preserve and support what it means to be Thai in terms of culture, the arts, handicrafts, architecture and performances.

Ours is a tourist attraction where both Thai and foreign visitors may encounter and experience the Thai way of life in the past, surrounded by the elegance of:

Architecture: The Lanna-style Gabled Pagoda, alms-bowl pavilions, Thai houses from the four regions of Thailand, traditional dwellings of various ethnic minorities, pavilion of arts from the four regions, and the Khan Tok Hall.

Thai Arts: including an extensive ceramic bas-relief sculpture depicting the legend of ThaoSuranari and a concrete sculpturedrendering of “Kinari (half woman half beast) Playing in the Water,” and murals of annual rites from the four regions.

Activities:Paddle boats for the collection of gorgeous multi-colored water lilies; delight in a leisurely ride around the village in a horse drawn carriage; and engage in the culinary activity of preparing royal Thai sweets.

Attractions
The Royal Pagoda
A four-cornered Buddhist Assembly Hall in the architectural style of Lanna or Northern Thailand, Housing four Buddha images, backs together facing in the four directions of the compass. Gold painted designs decorate the 36 supporting columns. The faces of the multi-tiered Gables are decorated with ornate woodcarvings in relief.
The alms-bowl pavilion to the left accommodates images of former kings to whom the Thai nation is eternally indebted for their meritorious deeds.
The alms-bowl pavilion to the right shelters Buddha images representing the days of the week on which one may have been born.

The Art Gallery
View and admire the exquisiting diverse Art and artwork from a diverse group of skilled artists and artisans and their rare and valuable creations, display of different types of unujval thai handicrafts including wood carving, pottery, sculpture and paintings.

How to get there
Private Car: To travel to the Arts and Culture Village by car from Bangkok, take the Bangkok – Chonburi Motorway (the new road), continue through Pattaua on Sukhumvit going towards Satthahip, passing through Ban Amphur, past Wat Yansangrawaram Temple and the Silver Lake Vinyard until arriving at Tambol Bang Sarey. The Thaithani Arts and Culture Village is reached by the same access road that goes to Suan Nong Nooch. Just continue on this road, and immediately after the railroad tracks is a three-way intersection, the Village is there on the right.
Public Bus: Take the Bangkok – Satthahip line from Ekamai Station (or the Bangkok – Satthahip Van) and get off at in front of the Suan Nong Nooch access road.
