Wat Sri Chum (Ancient) Sukhothai วัดศรีชุม สุโขทัย
Wat Sri Chum (Ancient) Sukhothai (วัดศรีชุม สุโขทัย) Sukhothai Historic site with a Giant seated Buddha, Wat Sri Chum is one of the temples in Sukhothai Historical Park. But the location of the temple is outside the city wall to the north. As a result, many people may not have gone to see it even if they have visited the historical park many times Because, within the park itself, there are many temples to visit. After visiting the temples within the city walls, many people have to travel elsewhere. Including ourselves I came to see Wat Sri Chum, it was the 4th time on my trip to Sukhothai.
Even though Wat Sri Chum is outside the city wall, it is a large temple. But what is left to see is A large Buddha image in the posture of Maravichai enshrined in the mandap, with only the surrounding walls remaining. The roof has completely disappeared. And it is this Buddha Achana that we have seen through many media as a symbol of Sukhothai Historical Park. that shouldn't be missed
