Two important Naga figures mentioned in the legend are Phaya Nakhon Nakarat and Phaya Si Satta Nakarat. Because of these beliefs, the temple has become a sacred destination where people come to pray for luck, success, prosperity, and protection.

The Development of Wat Pa Ku Kaeo

The temple began to develop more formally through the efforts of Phra Khru Boonsarn Sumon, also known as Luang Pu Boonma Muniko, together with villagers from Nong Bua Thong community who helped establish the original monastic residence.

In B.E. 2552 (2009), the area was restored and officially developed into a Buddhist meditation center. Since then, it has gradually evolved into the peaceful and sacred temple that visitors can see today.
