Sinakarintra Stit Mahasantikhiri Pagoda situates on the highest spot of Doi Mae Salong. Tourists can reach there by car. The pagoda was built as a tribute to Princess Srinagarindra (King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s mother). The pagoda is adapted Lanna building with many stories. Each story offers a nice lookout to beautiful scenery.
Former Chinese National Army Monument Thailand was built as a memorial to Chinese National soldiers who lived in this village and helped Thai government army to fight communism.
The Tomb of General Duan Si Wern, former Haw or Yunnan Chinese 5th Battalion, 93rd Brigade. The tomb’s area also offers viewpoint to Mae Salong mountain.
Buatong field, Doi Mae Hua Kam, situates in Mae Salong village near by Mae Sa Long mountain. It is very popular Buatong or Mexican Sunflower blooming festival in Thailand during year end season.
Tea Plantation 101 is one of the most famous Chiang Rai Attractions. The tea trees are lined in staircase field. You can experience tea picking and production, tea brewing, and tea tasting. Of course, tea as souvenir are available for purchase.
Wang Pud Tarn tea plantation is another attraction where tourists love to visit. Thanks to lion statues and a sculpture of a big tea pot pouring tea in to aa cup at the entrance of the field.
