Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam Peat Swamp Forest, Khao Khram Subdistrict, Mueang District, Krabi Province, is under the care of the Khao Khram Subdistrict Administrative Organization. It is an ecological study site, exploring the richness of nature, both in terms of underground waterways and vegetation that can thrive both in water and on land. Khlong Song Nam has a special characteristic: it has both fresh and brackish water. When the sea level recedes, the water in the canal becomes completely fresh. When the sea level rises, it turns salty, resulting in a crystal-clear stream filled with abundant, lush seagrass. It is convenient to canoe in Khlong Song Nam or take the nature trails that pass through the freshwater peat swamp forest and the intersection of the two forests along the canal. The walkway is approximately 700 meters long. Along the way, tourists can experience the beauty of palm trees such as coconut, sugar palm, reeds and various types of areca palms, as well as rambutan, rattan, rose apple, mangrove and various local vegetables. How to get there: Located at Ban Nong Chik, Village No. 2, Khao Khram Subdistrict, 34 kilometers from Krabi town along Highway No. 4 (Krabi-Ao Luek). At kilometer marker 126, turn left and go for about 5 kilometers. Admission fee: Adults 50 baht, children 30 baht. Canoes are available for rent.
