Wat Traiphum Kanacharn is located at Ban Tak Daet, tambol Hua Thon, amphoe Suvannaphum, Roi-Et province. It was registered as a "National Protected Monument" (Government Gazette, Vol. 114 Part. 80 ngo, 12 September 1997) and was renovated by the Fine Arts Department in 1998. The characteristic of Sim Wat Traiphum Khanacharn was a traditional small 'Sim' - local dialect for Ubosot - of Northeast with a low boundary wall. Feature fine woodcarving with a wooden shingle roof. The interior walls of 'Sim' decorated with paintings about life of Buddha entering the monkhood, subduing mara, and giving a semon. Unknown artists, who painted these mural painting, possibly by local artisan or foreign (Laos) artisan.
