Thai Elephant Conservation Centre
The Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC), founded in 1993 under Royal Patronage, cares for more than 50 Asian elephants in a beautiful forest conveniently located near the famous city of Chiang Mai. Beyond being an exciting tourist experience, the TECC is also known for its pioneering work in conservation and science. The TECC also proudly houses six of HM King Bhumibol's ten white elephants in the Royal Elephant Stables.

Thai Elephant Conservation Centre Thai Elephant Conservation Centre is located beside the highway 11 (Lampand - Chiang Mai), tourists who come here have to buy the tickets at the ticket booth. The ticket includes the Elephant show and a shuttle bus (loop all day). Then sit back and wait for a while, the shuttle bus will take us around the Elephant Conservation Center. On weekdays there are two rounds of show at 10.00 and 11.00. On weekend and vacation has 3 rounds at 10.00 , 11.00 and 13.30 . However if you like to ride elephant it available all day.
TEC Museum , this is the first station of the shuttle bus around this area have many souvenir shops and a foods&drinks on another side. The building in the center is the museum and exposition about the important of Thai elephant in our historical and the Royal elephant.

Take a bath, , the elephant need to take a bath at least once a day to reduce their temperature, 10 minutes before the show all elephant will go to the lagoon we will see how happy they are after that they will go to the show area.
It is show time , from the lagoon to the show area is only 100 meters. The elephant will walk one follow each other, the tourists can walk follow the elephant and take the cute photo like this, the elephant baby use their Proboscis hold the tail of the older elephant while walking to the show area , this is the same thing that they do in the forest.
Elephant show , Thai Elephant Conservation Center was founded to take care of elephant as the important animal in the historical, in the show the elephant just do the work same as they did in the pass. Elephant job in the forest is help us move the log. They don't have the fancy show like other zoo.
