Phu Pa Po (Fuji @ Loei) (ภูป่าเปาะ ฟูจิเมืองเลย) Loei Phu Pa Po is a viewpoint to see Phu Ho, well known in the other name as "Thai Fuji mount" because somebody once noticed that Phu Ho resembled Japan’s famous Mount Fuji with its distinctive slopes, and people have been coming to look ever since. There certainly is a distinct resemblance to Japan’s most famous mountain, but 900-metre Phu Ho boasts lush tropical green, from its base on the plains, to its often-misty summit.
To get onto the top of Phu Pa Po - ride up on mini tractors with a little carriage at the back and a platform built up front, ahead of the driver. It’s a regal and ridiculous way to travel – but wonderful fun. The fabulous view of ‘Fuji of Loei’ from Phu Pa Po viewpoint is one of the most famous activities for locals and tourists who have a short time on weekend since it took only 1-2 hours.
