Phanoen Thung Camp & Viewpoint is one of the most famous activity of Thai tourists it is little adventure to get there by pick-up truck which is a service from Kaeng Krachan National Park in Petchaburi. This area is not far from Bangkok (about 2-3 hours) and take less than two hour to get on hilltop. 960 meters high from the medium sea level (MSL) among the perfect atmosphere of the large forest, ofently will be the sea of mist in front of us in the morning at the viewpoint that is about 6 kilometers from our camp just sit in the back of the pick-up truck for 10 minutes to get there.

    There are vary wildlife to see every where in this national park, sometimes (around May) you could see a lot of butterflies on the base camp (Ban Krang Camp) before moving to the summit.

    Since this is a popular destination it is better if you do a reservation ahead with National Park before travel.
